“My wife and I had Brian Williams Custom Homes build our custom 4000+ square foot home in 2023 in Webster County. Four key areas that were important to us when choosing were dependability, budget, scheduling, and friendliness.
Dependable: We didn’t want to guess when the crew was going to show up to work. With so many builders nowadays you never know if guys are going to be onsite working or not. We did not have this problem with Brian’s company. When they said they would be there, they were. While you can’t predict the weather, I was impressed that even on rainy days, they showed up to work unless it was a complete washout.
True-to-budget: Brian built our house for exactly what he quoted in the beginning. There was no fluctuation in what we discussed. You do not want to work with a builder that will nickel and dime you throughout the whole process. You also do not want any surprises at the end. We were extremely happy with the process and could budget accordingly.
On-Time: All dates that Brian provided were met. We knew when the house was going to be finished. This provides great peace of mind for planning and logistics purposes.
Friendly/Family-Oriented: We wanted a company that was friendly to work with. Both my wife and I and all three kids were on site while Brian’s crew were building. We never had any issues with anyone being unfriendly. We felt like we got to know everyone and they kind of felt like family. These values are important to us, and I know they are important to Brian as well.
If we are ever in need again of Brian’s services, whether that would be to build another house, shop, barn, etc., we would definitely use Brian again.”

“My wife and I hired Brian Williams in 2022 to build our retirement home. Brian began the work in late 2022 and finished in 2023.
Our home is a 3500 square foot home with a basement and 3 car garage, and Brian and his crew have done us a good job.
When he started the framing, he introduced us to his crew foreman and instructed him that we would be visiting the site most evenings, and anything we didn’t like or were concerned about, he was instructed to take care of.
The crew did a fine job, and they even found issues with the house plans that we had purchased and pointed them out with ideas on how to avoid the problems the prints were going to create. These were very helpful.
All along the process, they helped us with the decision we needed to make and helped us avoid pitfalls that could cost us money later. He took care of any concerns and changes we wanted and finished right on budget with what he quoted us from the start.
I also had him build me a 24×32 framed metal shop building, and it was also finished on budget and looks great.
More recently, he just finished building us a 16×40 loafing shed for my equipment and matched it nicely to my existing workshop.”
